Our Pace

At New Genesis Med Spa, our goal is to help each person that walks through the door feel that they are being treated with the highest standards in professional care. We do not ever want you to feel rushed and invite all of our clients to come early, sit, and relax with a cup of coffee or refreshing beverage before your treatment. We have created an environment that we hope you will find soothing and comfortable.

Your Comfort:

While you may be coming in for a relaxing facial, we understand that many people are coming for medical treatments that are actually uncomfortable and can cause anxiety. At New Genesis, we specialize in two things: the first is Cosmetic Medicine and the second, is your comfort. We commit to doing all that we can to assure that you are relaxed and experience the least amount of discomfort possible. This means we take more time with each client than you might expect. We offer comfort measures such as a state-of-the-art Syner-Cool® Chiller that blows very cold air on skin before a laser treatment, in order to minimize the discomfort. We perform “nerve blocks” when doing treatments on certain parts of the face or lips. We also offer “minimal sedation injections” with Nitrous Oxide, which allows you to drive yourself, relax during the treatments, and not experience the discomfort you would experience without it. If necessary, we also provide prescription medications for pain after the procedure. If your anxiety level is very high, we will make medication available to you before a treatment that will help to calm you. All of these things do take more time, but we are committed to your comfort being part of the treatment you are receiving. We believe that you should not dread a treatment that is designed to make you look and feel better.

Our Technology:

At New Genesis we are committed to offering the latest technology that is available, to assure you the best results possible for your investment. For our laser services we offer a Syneron E-Max Laser for hair removal, skin rejuvenation, skin tightening and leg vein treatments. The Syneron Laser is the only laser available that incorporates Elōs technology. Elōs is the first and only technology that uses the power of bi-polar radio frequency (RF) and optical energy. This laser is FDA approved and is the most advanced technology for permanent hair reduction. It offers the highest level of comfort and safety- and overcomes the limitations of conventional lasers. We also use the Erchonia LipoLaser with the LipoDissolve® injections. This laser melts fat and speeds the healing process.

Our Education Commitment

As part of our commitment to maintaining excellence in all that we do, the medical staff at New Genesis frequently attends medical seminars and training classes. We want to offer our clients the latest technologies and techniques to give the best results possible for their investment. For this reason, there are some treatments that we choose not to offer that are available at other medical spas in Rochester. We are always happy to discuss all treatments options with you and refer you elsewhere if you decide you want a treatment that we don’t have.
