Mesotherapy & LipoDissolve®

LipoDissolve® has been performed since 1994 by thousands of physicians around the world. New Genesis was not only the first medical practice in Upstate New York to perform LipoDissolve®, but we were also one of the first in the nation. We have performed thousands of treatments to date and helped countless patients achieve the benefits of non-surgical body contouring with smooth and tight skin. We understand the struggle of trying to lose fat in a stubborn area that is resistant to diet and exercise. We also understand that some people are genetically predisposed to carry fat in certain areas, while others experience body shape changes due to medical conditions, and as they mature.

LipoDissolve® is the injection of a natural enzyme that literally digests fat cells. The two enzymes called Phosphatidylcholine and Deoxycholate or PC/DC for short. Both of these ingredients are found in the body in abundance already, and have been found to be very safe by researchers around the world, and at UCLA. PC is a key component to human cell walls, and has been used for years to help lower cholesterol, and promote cell health. It is commonly called Lecithin and is synthesized from soy. DC is a synthetic bile salt that your liver makes to break down fats that you ingest. It is what researchers have proven is the active ingredient in the fat melting process. PC/DC has been used for decades around the world to treat people with heart conditions, fatty liver syndromes, and trauma patients. Because both of these substances occur naturally in the body, they have been found to be very safe to inject into the fatty deposits.

LipoDissolve® is not a weight loss technique- it is for non-surgical body contouring of SMALL fat pockets that are resistant to diet and exercise. It is not for people who are more than 20 pounds over their ideal body weight. An anesthetic cream is applied two hours prior to your treatment to minimize the discomfort of injections. For small fat pockets, an average of five treatments are done to one area. Each treatment is performed 6 weeks apart. It is possible to be receiving treatments to multiple areas, but not on the same day.

LipoDissolve® is the fat melting injection technique that was birthed out of Mesotherapy, which has been practiced since the 1950's. Mesotherapy typically involves a cocktail of medications injected just below the skin into the mesoderm to treat a variety of medical conditions. At New Genesis, we will not inject the Mesotherapy cocktail of medicines, as there is no scientific research that we are aware of proving its' safety or effectiveness.
